I was a late check in. Received a warm welcome at desk. The hotel was full, but when I kindly asked for an upgrade, the lovely gentleman at reception did his best and managed to upgrade me. The room was spacious and comfortable, bed / mattress was ved comfy , and noise levels low despite a full house! The floorboards were creaky , but bearable. Great powerful shower and toiletries supplied . Fluffy towels . Did not manage to use the pool/ steam room , which I feel for £5 was a very reasonable price! The location is beautiful and tranquil.

Very enjoyable overnighter for an early start football match. Travelled from London and setting was great. The room was very well presented and comfortable. The only thing I’d say and it’s being picky is the grass quadrant the room looked out onto was overgrown and unkempt. It let down the high standards of the rest of the incredible grounds. I can’t imagine it would take a lot for the groundsman to level regards and add a few plants to make it shine.

We booked for a standard double room but we got upgraded to a superior (?) which has larger double bed, a separate living room, 2 TVs. We attended a friend's wedding there, where utilised few areas (dining, drink/bar areas, disco/dance areas). It is pity I don't have the time to try the swimming pool or massage/spa. The latter one has to book in advance. Plenty of parking space is available.

Excellent receptionist at the time of check-in. Had a slight issue with the room due to having dogs with us. The person behind the desk was superb and managed to change the room for us to our satisfaction. Breakfast was quite nice and would actually recommend booking with your stay. Good selection and they kept on replenishing on a regular basis when things were about to run out.

I loved everything. The girl who checked in us on Saturday at 3pm. Sophia I think it's her name. she was very kind to us and very helpful always ready to help and with a smile on her face. which is nice to see in these places. the perfect breakfast. the pool, the jacuzzi, and the great sauna. the perfect rooms.
